Happy Jumping

by K3r0s3n[4246636] 5 out of 5 (2) battle-stats members guides

You boost your Happiness far above its normal cap with items like E-DVDs, chocolates, and Ecstasy, then spend a large stack of energy (usually about 1,000 E built up with Xanax) in the gym all at once. Higher Happiness gives more stats per energy point, so it’s one of the fastest ways to grow battle stats early on. It’s expensive, it carries an overdose risk, and it pays off best while your stats are still under roughly 400k each.

What is Happy Jumping ?

What it is: You push your Happiness way above its normal cap using items, then dump a big pile of energy into the gym all at once. More Happy means more stats per energy point.

Who it’s for: Mainly players with battle stats under roughly 400k each (about 800k if you have the 10★ Adult Novelties job perk). Above that, the extra gains usually aren’t worth the cost.

What you need ?

  • 4× Xanax for energy (250 E each)
  • Happy items: 5 x Erotic DVDs (big boost, expensive) or 48 - 49 chocolates/candy (cheaper)
  • 1× Ecstasy, which doubles your current Happy
  • Optionally, points for an energy refill at the end

Step by step

  1. Stack energy. Starting from an empty bar, take a Xanax. When the drug cooldown ends, take another. Repeat until you’re at about 1,000 energy, which is the maximum.
  2. Wait for the drug cooldown to clear after your last Xanax, because you can’t take Ecstasy until it does.
  3. Watch the clock. Happy above your cap resets at :00, :15, :30, and :45 Torn time, so start right after one of those (for example at 14:15:01) to get the full window.
  4. Boost Happy. Use your Erotic DVDs and/or chocolates until your booster cooldown is maxed.
  5. Take the Ecstasy last to double the whole stack.
  6. Train everything in one go on one stat, using as few clicks as possible.
  7. Optional: refill energy with points and train again right away.
  8. Rest. Wait out your cooldowns before the next jump.

Budget vs. expensive

  • Cheapest, best value: Xanax, chocolates, and Ecstasy. Lower gains, but the most stats per dollar.
  • Big burst: Xanax, 5 E-DVDs, and Ecstasy. Huge gains, worst value per dollar.

Golden rules

  • Higher base Happy from a better property makes every item go further, so aim for a Private Island.
  • Stop jumping once your stats are high enough that plain daily training gets nearly the same results.

Overdose (OD) warning

  • Every Xanax or Ecstasy you take has a small chance to overdose you, and nothing can stop it.
  • Xanax overdose removes 100% of your Energy, Nerve and Happy, puts you in hospital for 5000 minutes, and increases your cooldown (~24-25 hours) and addiction. An Ecstasy OD mainly costs you the Happy you built up. Either way, the jump is ruined and the items you used are lost.

If it happens:

  1. Get out of hospital faster. Turn on revives in your settings so other players can revive you, or ask your faction or a revive service (usually for a fee). You can also use your own medical items to cut the hospital time.
  2. Rehab in Switzerland to restore your Happy. After an OD your Happy is wiped out, and high addiction keeps it down. A rehab trip lowers your addiction and brings your Happy back up. Bring at least $2 million with you, because rehab costs more the higher your addiction is.
  3. Start over. Begin stacking again once the cooldowns are clear. Don’t try to “save” the jump.
