Seasonal events
Torn's calendar ahead, a page for Trick or Treat, Elimination, Christmas Town, the booster days and Torning's egg hunt, your past events and what they made you.
Where it is and what it uses
Open Events in the menu. It is free for every signed-in player. The tabs along the top are Overview, Trick or Treat, Elimination, Christmas Town, Booster days, Egg hunt and Your history.
Every figure comes from one of three places: Torn's own data (its calendar, its item list with each item's effect text and market value, and its honours list), the Torn wiki, or your own synced Torning data. Where a figure is a community estimate, the page says so beside it. Torning does not guess odds or drop rates Torn has not published.
Torning never takes an action in Torn for you. Every attack and profile link opens Torn's own page, and you press the button yourself.
Overview
- On now: each event running in Torn, in Torn's own words, with a bar for how much of it has gone and when it ends. An event with a page of its own has a button to open it. While Trick or Treat runs, the card also shows your treat chance and your basket.
- Next up: the next three events, with countdowns. A booster day says so.
- Your reminders: pick how early you hear an event is coming (1, 3 or 7 days) and switch Torn event coming up, Torn event started and Your event recap on or off. More choices are on Account › Alerts.
- The next 90 days: every event in Torn's latest calendar on a bar from now to 90 days ahead, with a countdown to each start. Events with a page of their own are in the main colour, booster days in their own colour, and Torn-wide days in grey. An event's name opens its page. Times follow your TCT or Local clock in the top bar.
- Today's egg hunt: how many of today's eggs players have found, and whether yours is still hidden.
- Your last recap: your newest event result beside the year before, once Your history is open to you.
- Add to my calendar: a link to copy into Google Calendar (Other calendars, From URL) or Apple Calendar (New calendar subscription), so Torn's events show there and update themselves. It holds Torn's public calendar only.
Trick or Treat
The basket rules, the treats each basket needs, the upgrade tiers and costs and the summoning rules come from IceBlueFire's Trick or Treat guide on the Torn forums (edited 23 Oct 2026).
- Your treat chance: 35% for each player you defeat, plus your basket's bonus (5% to 45%). Scary clothing adds 10% if you have I See Dead People, and a scary weapon adds 10% if you have Here's Johnny! and it lands the final hit. The chance never goes past 100%. A dial shows the total and a bar shows each part. Your basket and any scary clothing or weapon fill in from your synced inventory; the basket list and the switches let you change them.
- Basket honours: Phantastic, Something Humerus and Oh My Gourd!, as Torn's honours list words them, whether you hold each and how many baskets you still have to climb.
- Basket ladder: every basket in order with its bonus and the treats needed to reach it, your own basket marked. These are community figures, since Torn does not publish them. Levelling up never spends treats.
- Upgrades: pick Tier 1 to Tier 4 to see that tier's upgrades with their costs and effects as the game words them. Tier 2 unlocks at Frightful, Tier 3 at Shocking and Tier 4 at Horrifying. Torn does not say how the multiplier upgrades combine beyond that they stack, so Torning does not add them up.
- What each tier costs: a bar per tier. Every upgrade together costs 14,142 treats, or 14,372 with the three M'aol upgrades.
- Summoning M'aol: Summon Cthulhu costs 9,999 treats. Summoning is blocked for the event's first 24 hours, opens from 26 Oct at 10:00 TCT until 31 Oct at 23:59 TCT, and is blocked again for 48 hours after a defeat. The card lists the three upgrades a summon opens and their costs, and warns that a Stygian Darkness can be used up in an ordinary fight.
- Your Trick or Treats: by year, the attacks that paid you treats, your basket level-ups, the upgrades you bought, your exchanges and their Total income, counted from your Halloween basket log and your basket exchanges. It counts attacks that paid treats, not the treats themselves. The income is the money and items your exchanges gave, items at today's market price, with every year added up under the table.
- Your exchanges this year: every basket exchange in your Torn log this year, priced at today's market value, with the most valuable items as bars.
- How Trick or Treat works: short answers on defends, carrying treats over, levelling up, when to exchange and Mortal Coil.
Elimination
- How Elimination runs: entry, the attacking period, elimination and rewards, from the Torn wiki. When Torn has not put the next Elimination on its calendar yet, the card says so.
- Elimination honours: Purple Heart, Mission Accomplished, Domination and Supremacy, as Torn's honours list words them, and whether you hold each. Purple Heart shows your successful attacks in your last Elimination out of 50. It counts every successful attack, not only those on enemy team members.
- Your targets: paste Torn ids or profile links, or press Sync my Torn targets to load your list from Torn. Each player shows fair fight on a bar from 1.00 to 3.00, worked out from the latest spy you can see or Torning's own estimate, and base respect from their level. A ~ marks fair fight worked out from a stat total alone. A player Torning has no stats for shows as unknown. Save adds a player to your targets on Torning; Torn's own list is not changed.
- Your Elimination record: each year you joined a team, a bar splitting your attacks into successful ones (attacked, mugged or hospitalised) and the rest, beside a table of the respect they earned and their average fair fight.
Fair fight compares battle-stat scores (the square roots of the four stats, added up) and runs from 1.00 to 3.00. The formula is community-derived and cited by the Torn wiki. Base respect is level / 200 + 1. Torning never predicts a win.
Christmas Town
- How the days work: when Christmas Town opens or closes, and coupons, Christmas Bucks, Santa's daily gift, how item spawns slow and recover, and the Beer Tent, from the Torn wiki.
- Speed ornaments: the five ornaments as one bar, each part its cost in Christmas Bucks, 1,000 in all for +25% speed.
- Your Christmas Town: your Total income, all years, your best year and what an item you found was worth on average. A bar for each year splits its income into the money you picked up and the items you found, priced at today's market value, since Torn's log keeps no value at the time. The table beside it has the items, keys, coupons and purchases each year, counted from your Christmas Town log.
Booster days
- Booster days: the page opens on the next booster day still to come. Pick Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, 420 Day, International Beer Day, CaffeineCon or World Diabetes Day to see another. The page shows its date and rule from Torn's calendar, then its Multiplier, Cooldown each, how many Fit in your cap and the Best on the day. Every item it boosts has a bar for its effect normally and the extra on the day, its booster cooldown, how many fit your cooldown and today's market price. Candy adds 30 minutes of booster cooldown each, so 48 fit a 24 hour cooldown. Turn on My faction has Voracity to count a 48 hour cooldown instead of 24.
- 420 Day triples Cannabis. Torn's item text gives no cooldown for drugs, so there is no count of how many fit.
- Valentine's Day has no multiplier: Love Juice only works on the day, so the page lists it with Torn's own effect text.
- Prices around the day: each item's market price, one a day, for the two weeks either side of the day's last run, with a dashed line on the day itself. These are Torning's own recorded prices, not a forecast, and a gap is a day with no record. Torning started keeping them on 30 Sep 2026, so a day that has not run since shows nothing yet.
- Museum Day: the full plushie and flower sets in your synced inventory, the points they fetch (10 a set, 11 on Museum Day) and what that is worth at today's points price.
- Easter eggs: each Easter egg with Torn's own effect text. They are all untradable.
- Your egg hunts: the eggs you picked up in each year's Easter Egg Hunt, counted from your Easter egg hunt log.
Egg hunt
Found today across Torning shows how many of today's eggs players have found, a bar toward the day's total, how many were found in each TCT hour, and whether you have found yours. It never shows when eggs go out.
Your finds this year counts the eggs you found and the hours of Pro and Ultra they carried, with a bar by rarity. Prizes you keep wait on Account › Inventory.
What an egg can give shows each rarity's chance and prize, read live from the egg hunt's settings, so it always matches what eggs really give. The same table is on Account › Inventory.
Your history and income
Your history, and the year-by-year cards on each event's page, read your own Torn logs, so they need a Full Access key and the Seasonal Event History permission. Press Grant access on any of them to turn it on, or turn it on in the welcome tour.
Torning then reads four Torn log categories: Halloween basket, Elimination, Christmas town and Easter egg hunt, back to when you joined. It checks them once a day, and every hour while that event is running. Turn it off at any time on Account › Data sharing.
- Total income from events: what the year's events made you, beside the year before, split into Trick or Treat and Christmas Town, and every year added up. It is the money and items from your basket exchanges and your Christmas Town finds, items at today's market price. Elimination pays competition tokens and Easter eggs are untradable, so neither adds money.
- One card for each event you took part in that year, with its headline figure, a bar against the year before, and its income.
- Faction event board: who sees your results on your faction's event board. Visibility changes it.
Pick a year at the top to look back.
Event reminders
Torning can remind you about the events on Torn's calendar. The reminders start off: turn them on in Your reminders on Events › Overview, or in the Seasonal events card on Account › Alerts.
- Torn event coming up: before each event, with Torn's own description and when it starts. Pick 1, 3 or 7 days ahead.
- Torn event started: in the first hours after an event opens, with when it ends.
Each one lands in Alerts, on Discord, or both, like your other alerts, and you hear about each event once. Where an event has a page of its own, the reminder opens it. Reminders only reach players who have accepted the current Terms and Privacy Policy.
Your event recap
Half a day after Trick or Treat, Elimination, Christmas Town or the Easter Egg Hunt ends, Your event recap tells you what your own Torn log shows you did, with last year beside it, and opens Your history. It only goes when your log shows you took part, and only with Seasonal Event History on. It starts on; switch it off in the same places.

Torn events across Torning
- On the day: a chip beside the page title shows Torn's one-day events where they change the figures, in Torn's own words. Weekend Road Trip shows on Racing, Employee Appreciation Day on Companies, World Population Day on Insights › Combat, Slash Wednesday on Faction › Chain and War › Targets, Tourism Day and World Tiger Day on Travel and the travel planner, and World Blood Donor Day on Faction › Accounting. Each player starts these at their own time, so a chip can show a little before or after yours.
- Tourism Day: the travel planner counts double capacity on the day. The Flights guide has the details.
- Your checklist: the day before an event, the Torn event row on Home says what it does, in Torn's words.
- Faction › Members: the Events view puts members who chose to share their event results side by side. The faction guide has the details.
- Discord:
/eventslists what is on and what comes next, and leaders can route the Torn event tomorrow alert to a channel. The Discord bot guide has the details. - Torning Lite: the top of the Tools panel shows the event on now, or the next one, with a countdown. It only shows what Torning knows and never acts in Torn.
